Great work for a first wedding. I'd work on your lighting techniques, with bounce flash, reflectors, or at least off camera flash units. I also think for wedding photos there is too much localized contrast. A good example would be the photo of the back of the brides dress being put on by the bridesmaids. Personally I am a fan of adding heavy vignetting to romantic photos such as weddings, so I would try that.
Finally, I'm sure you learned from doing just one wedding how stressful it can be! But I think it turned out pretty good. Keep practicing!
When I looked at the picture of 'the kiss' I cringed a bit. This is a good example of why wedding photographers get paid what they do. Its not easy to get the perfect shot every time its this important. For weddings you absolutely need a lens with a wider aperture then f/5.6. A good zoom with image stabilization and f/2.8 is what you want to look for. It'll be easier to get closer to ISO 800 and also get a sharp image! Sorry if I'm getting too picky, just trying to give you some helpful pointers. Again, good work, keep it up.
Wally i prolly don't know too much about photography but by the looks of those pictures its pretty obvious you are going places with this photography thing
PS: I loved the picture with the priest..
Keep it up!
As the father of the bride, I truly think you did a wonderful job with the pictures.
Thank you.
Thank you
Keep up the outstanding work.
